An inspiring and highly shareable environment

adidas and Amazon launched a partnership with Girls on the Run to help girls unlock their limitless potential through training, running and education.

She Breaks Barriers by adidas is an active mission to inspire a generation of young girls. While the effort touches every aspect of the brand, we are asked to make the effort tangible through activations and events across the country.

Solution

At the recent Girls on the Run Los Angeles 5k, we created a collection of experiences and activities that both supported the girls and showed the gear that could do it.

Environment.
An inspiring and highly shareable environment energized the girls throughout the day. We brought in artist Martina Martian to illustrate an awesome archway entrance and course markers, and we set up photo backdrops wrapped in Girls on the Run and She Breaks Barriers messaging.

Creativity.
Opportunities for the girls to flex their creative muscles prior to the run were spread throughout. A collective coloring mural, designed by artist Lauren Hom, comprised of messaging and icons central to She Breaks Barriers and the event.
